Last night, Kate and I went out for dinner at The Park restaurant in the Meatpacking District. I have been dying to go since I walked past their "Garden House" dining room, which opens up to the street allowing passers-by to see the beautiful Japanese maple trees growing right through the floors up to the ceiling. The Garden has a casual yet chic elegance to it, and my maxi dress (which ended up matching the decor) was the perfect happy-medium between relaxed and fancy.
