This is my absolute favorite jacket/purchase from this winter. I bought it for New Year's Eve but find myself wearing it 
LITERALLY all the time. The crackle pattern is a really fun way to bring a new life and look to the (very unvarying,
 especially in Manhattan) black moto jacket. Paired with black pants like these velvet ones for winter and white jeans for summer, 
this jacket really can be an everyday closet staple.

It never hurts to keep a few vintage preppy pieces in your wardrobe for days that you want to feel old school cool. I dress for my mood, so when I go back to my childhood home and I'm nostalgic for elementary school days I love to throw on a preppy-chic uniform and reminisce.
