This is my absolute favorite jacket/purchase from this winter. I bought it for New Year's Eve but find myself wearing it LITERALLY all the time. The crackle pattern is a really fun way to bring a new life and look to the (very unvarying, especially in Manhattan) black moto jacket. Paired with black pants like these velvet ones for winter and white jeans for summer, this jacket really can be an everyday closet staple.
This dress is one of my favorite finds from NYC sample sale season last year - from Tracy Reese. While it has a beautiful pattern, it still feels almost like a "neutral" to me - with endless outfit possibilities. Layering is the best way to move a piece of clothing from one season to the next, and this dress has unlimited pairing potential for just about any season.
Spring is almost here - and while we are in the midst of April showers I can't help but get overexcited about coming wardrobe changes (no more down coats and swaths taking place of what could have been a great outfit). It's back to vests, sweaters, blazers and the more-than-occasional trench for me and I couldn't be happier about it.
