one of my greatest vices is my addiction to sweets.  it seems that my sixth sense happens to be a gps locator of candy and pastry shops...i just cant seem to escape them (though, i'm not trying that hard).  without fail there is always some variation of a sweet spot within a few blocks of me here in NYC.  the Financier is one of my absolute favorite patisseries with their individual cheesecakes and extra large macrons that make it impossible to say "no" - and it just so happens they are located all over manhattan.

My weekend was chock-full of exciting mini-dates with Kitty. From a comedy show in the Upper East Side to a soccer game in Brooklyn - we went all over the NYC map. 

Pictured above is my favorite outfit from our adventures this weekend. These Marc Jacobs boots (courtesy of Kitty) make me feel significantly cooler than I really am - and I don't hate it.
