sequins, for night
Top Zara | Skirt Sabine via Piperlime | Necklace LA Boutique | Purse Rebecca Minkoff
What's that, you say? Sequins? Again? Ah, yes, it is true.
If I didn't make it obvious in my last post, I'm obsessed with the miniature sparkly round discs (aka sequins) that make up this glamourous skirt from Sabine (via Piperlime). It's sold out but there are so many on sale (Free People, Anthropologie..to name a few).
PS. While this skirt makes me feel like royalty (and sometimes even convinces me that I am), I want to shout-out to a real queen, my mother, for taking these amazing photos this past weekend. Love you, girl.

for day, sequins
I don't think its humanly possible to wear a sequin maxi-skirt and not feel 100% fabulous the entire time it's draped on your body...that's why its very important to make sure that you don't just keep your sequins for special events and nighttime engagements. If someone asks you why your wearing what looks to be one-half of a ball gown at 1:00pm on a Tuesday, you simply ask them why they're not wearing one... they might give you a puzzled/offended look, but I guarantee they'll begin to think about it - maybe even adopt some sparkle into their daily wardrobe. It's up to you to change the world, one sequin at a time...x

fashion is art. art is fashion. but is it?
it's nice to see one of most influential and distinguished designers in the world argue a different side. one thing i do know for sure, its about time for karl and kanye to have a konversation (preferably televised, maybe even keeked).

leather, lots of
Jacket Coach | Scarf & Gloves Zara | Pants Wilfred via Aritzia | Slippers Vince Camuto (similar here & major-league obsessed with these, too) | Hat American Apparel
It's 2014. Meet Me in Style is back. Kitty broke out the camera in the midst of our Sunday afternoon Starby's date and the rest is history (slash, the rest can be seen in the above images).
We both miss the mini- glam sessions and photoshoots, so we have vowed to make 2014 the Year of the Blog. Lots and lots of fun stuff ahead, so be on the lookout. And if this post is any indicator of how the upcoming blog year will go, leather is going to be major major. Obsessed. Can't wait. Thank's for reading, x.
